Is the polite term, and Netscape 4.x was still the best browser available, unless "SeaMonkey", if you remember that IE was still a load of, erm, stuff, I think, (way back in the days when milestones started with M and you still called them Modern has been the default since the preview release for 6.0 > I'm kind of surprised that the modern theme is the default. Personally I think that's an acceptable tradeoff, but apparently Netscape does Legitimate windows that don't open if you turn it on, as the other poster indicates. This has the effect of blocking most unwanted popup Javascript to open new windows normally, but not during certain kinds of events, The pref the other user was talking about was an in-between setting that would allow If you disable that one, javascript links won't work either. Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Scripts and Windows > uncheck Open a Link in a New Windows
